Community Project Funding/congressionally Directed Spending - Construction - While There Are Several Mental Health Providers in the SWFL Region Who Serve Hendry County Residents, the Majority Have Main Locations Outside of the County and Have Specific Days, Hours, and Varying Locations to Serve Residents in Hendry County. Creating a Single Space in Hendry County That Would House the Mental Health Providers Who Come in From Outside of the County Throughout the Week Would Allow for Easier Education of the Mental Health Services That Are Offered and Provide a More Consistent Source of Support for Our Residents Seeking Mental Health Services. Additionally, Many Hendry County Residents Do Not Have High Speed Internet Access and Cannot Access the Telehealth Services Offered by Many Providers. Hendry County Wishes to Create a Secure, Private Area for Individuals to Conduct Their Telehealth Meetings and Receive the Care They Need.
