Is a Human and Social Service Agency That Promotes Maximum Independence, Personal Responsibility, and Dignity for Mentally, Physically, and Emotionally Challenged Persons. Hsi Is Also Certified as a Healthcare Facility Providing Integrated Treatment Services to Residents Using a Continuum of Care Model. the Organization Is Licensed by the Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Alcoholism and Substance Abuse and Accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (carf). the Agency Uses a Continuum of Care Approach to Address Social Determinants of Health, Disability, Substance Use Disorders, Trauma and Violence. Hsi Provides Health and Human Services Programs to Chicago’s Most Disadvantaged and Vulnerable Residents and Provides Services to Over 7,000 People Annually. Habilitative Systems, Inc.’s Main Facility Is Currently in Need of Building Improvements and Modernization. the Building Repairs Would Be Focused on Returning the Building to Efficient Operating Capacities, Safe Conditions and Use for Employees (almost All Employees Are People With Disabilities) and Visitors, Assuring That the Building Systems Are Operating in a Manner That Stops Deterioration of This Beautiful Facility. Interior Finishes Will Be Improved and Upgraded, Lighting Converted to All Led, Toilet Rooms Upgraded to Meet Ada Standards, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Repairs, and Upgrade of All Entrance/exit Doors. All of These Improvements Will Reduce the Agency’s Annual Operating Costs, Thus Allowing Hsi to Serve More Needs Within the Community. Habilitative Systems, Inc.
