Bus-van Acquisition/fareboxequip/computer-serverequip/grantadmin/three Buses to Replace 2003 Models That Have Reached Their Useful Life; Three Paratransit Vans to Replace 2009 Models in the Demand Response Fleet That Has Also Reached Their Useful Life; Replace Existing Outdated Farebox Equipment That Is Being Phased Out by Manufacturer; Upgrades to Computer Hardware and Server Equipment; and Grant Admin.this Grant Application Requests $1049785 in Federal Fiscal Year 2013 (bringing the Cumulative All Previous Years Unobligated Balance to Zero $896408 in 2014 Brining 2014 Unobligated Balance to Zero and 451807 in 2015 Leaving a Balance of $624968 in Federal Fiscal Year 2015 and in the Program Overall Thru Grant Year 2015.THE Redding Area Bus Authority Provides Transit Services Through a Contract Operator.raba Acknowledges the Dear Collegue Letter Signed by the Regional Director on May 15 2015. Raba Does Not Directly Employ Any Transit Employees But Hires a Contractor That Operates the System for Raba. Raba Itself Only Has Four Employees All Administrative Employed by the City of Redding and Operating Through the Jpa for Raba. Therefore Raba Is Not Affected by Delays Associated With Pepra. the Total Federal Share Is $2398000 in Federal Fiscal Year 2013 2014 and 2015 Funds.the Recipient--redding Area Bus Authority--is Receiving the Funds ($750000 Operating and 1648000 Capital) and Will Be Contributing a Minimum of 3877200 in Local Share and $407000 in Prop 1B And/or Tda Match.raba Serves the Urbanized Area of Shasta County California. Specifically the Cities of Anderson Redding and Shasta Lake City and Portions of Shasta County.raba Intends to Undertake the Following Activities With These Funds:- Purchase Capital Vehicles (3 Vans and 3 Buses) That Have Reached Their Useful Life.- Add And/or Replace Outdated Farebox Equipment That Is Being Phased Out by the Manufacturer.- Add And/or Replace Outdated or Needed Computer and Server Equipment That Directly Affects the Operation of the System.- Apply Operating Assistance to Rabas Fiscal Year 2014/15.- Utilize Grant Administration to Assist in Accomplishment/oversight of These Projects. Project Administration Costs May Include Research of Product Contact With Various Vendors to Obtain Bids and Quotes Research on Possible Piggyback Opportunities Development of Purchase Order and Required Procurement Documents Oversight of Project Throughout the Development Process Oversight of Delivery and Installation Where Applicable Processing Payments Time Associated With Project Accounting and Reporting Costs Incurred for the Inspection of Buses Including the Cost of Travel to the Plant and Other Costs in Accordance With Applicable Federal Costs Principles. Raba Staff Understands That Admin Expenses Incurred to Implement the Program Are Not Eligible in the 5307 Program. Raba Staff Contributes Far More Personnel/staff Time to Procurement and Management/oversight of These Grant Projects Than the Amount Requested Herein; Therefore Raba Is Requesting a 100% Reimbursement Ratio on This Item.there Are No Sub-recipients Associated With This Grant.source(s) of Local Match Includes But Is Not Necessarily Limited to State Proposition 1B and Transportation Development Act Funds.
