Community Members in the Communities Omnitrans Serves Particularly in San Bernardino Have Long Urged Omnitrans Convert to Zero Emission Technologies as Soon as Possible. the Proposed Project Will Help Omnitrans to Further Pilot Zero-emission Technologies to Aid in the Full Conversion of Omnitrans Fleet to Zero Emission Buses Before 2040.; Activities Performed: Purchase One New 40-FOOT Battery Electric Bus to Replace One CNG 40-FOOT Bus Which Has Met Its Useful Life. New Vehicle Is Expected to Arrive in 2027.; Expected Outcomes: Replace One CNG Bus Which Has Met Its Useful Life With One New Zero-emission Battery Electric Bus Which Will Help to Improve Air Quality in the Communities Served by Omnitrans Around Its East Valley Maintenance Facility at 1700 W. Fifth Street San Bernardino Ca 92411 in San Bernardino and in Other Communities in the Eastern San Bernardino Valley Region and Which Will Help to Further Omnitrans Planned Conversion of Its Entire Fleet to Zero-emissions Before 2040.; Intended Beneficiaries: Omnitrans and the Riders That Rely on Its Service Will Benefit From Clean Zero-emission Public Transportation Permitting Riders to Get to Work and Other Destinations.; Subrecipient Activities: None
