Application Purpose: Purpose of This Award Is to Allow Omnitrans to Utilize Funds to Procure Capital Items Keep Our System Up and Running So That Riders Will Have a Reliable Transportation System. We Are Also Covering All Eligible Preventive Maintenance and Operating Expenses Such as Brake Kits Axle Assemblies Rebuild or Refurbishing Equipment Items Having a Useful Life of Less Than One Year and the Purchase of Security Related Equipment for the Agency.; Activities Performed: the Following Activities Will Be Performed With Funds From This Award 1) Procurement of Paratransit Vehicles; 2) Procurement of Non-revenue Vehicles; 3) Facility Infrastructure Improvements; 4) Information Technology Upgrades; 5) 1 Year of Preventive Maintenance (fiscal Year 2025); 6) 1 Year of Operating Assistance for Our Tire Lease; 7) Transit Enhancements; and 8) the Purchase of Security Related Equipment for Omnitrans.; Expected Outcomes: Funding Will Permit Omnitrans to Meet Preventive Maintenance Standards Continue to Provide Operations and Keep Rolling Stock Vehicles Facilities and Information Technology Equipment in a State of Good Repair.; Intended Beneficiaries: Omnitrans and the Riders That Rely on Its Service Will Benefit From Continued Services Permitting Riders to Get to Work and Other Destinations.; Subrecipient Activities: None
