Application Purpose: the Purpose of This Award Is to Provide $4975973 to VCTC and Subrecipients for Preventive Maintenance Ada Service Capital Contracting Cost Mobility Management Rolling Stock and Capital Infrastructure; $2324500 to VCTC for Planning; and $4092247 to VCTC and Subrecipients for Operating Assistance.; Activities Performed: Funds Will Be Used to Cover Eligible Operating Expenses Such as Driver Salaries Fuel Maintenance On-demand Rideshare Replacement Transit Vehicle Leases Etc. to Continue Transit Operations.; Expected Outcomes: Funding Will Permit VCTC to Continue to Provide Operations That Would Otherwise Have to Be Cut Due to Lack of Funding.; Intended Beneficiaries: VCTC and the Riders That Rely on Its Services Will Benefit From Continued Operations While Meeting Preventive Maintenance Standards and Keeping Rolling Stock Vehicles in a State of Good Repair Thus Permitting Workers to Get to Work and Riders to Get to Essential and Services and Other Destinations and Desired.; Subrecipient Activities: the Following Are Providers of Transit Service Operators: MV Transportation First Transit and Ratp-dev. Subrecipients in the Grant Are the Cities of Thousand Oaks Moorpark and Camarillo as Well as County of Ventura Human Services for Jarc Transit Operations.
