Application Purpose: the Purpose of This Award Is to Fund Sunline Transit Agencys Capital Project Upgrade Computer Aided Dispatching/automatic Vehicle Location (cad/avl) System to Assist in Fixed Route and Demand Response Operations and Support Vehicles.; Activities Performed: Sunline Intends to Use the Grants for Capital Assistance to Upgrade Existing Computer Aided Dispatching/automatic Vehicle Location (cad/avl) System With a New and Improved Solution That Incorporates New Onboard Hardware in All of the Agencys Revenue Vehicles and Support Vehicle Fleet.; Expected Outcomes: Funding for All Capital Projects Will Improve Sunline Transit Continued Service Reliability and Efficiency of Transit Services Increase Employee Productivity Reduce Cost Optimize Assets Life Cycle Enhance Security and Safety and Keep Transit Assets in a State of Good Repair.; Intended Beneficiaries: the Grant Award Will Benefit Sunline Transit Agency Service Area Populace Employees and Local Area Commuters.; Subrecipient Activities: Sunline Transit Agency Has No Sub-recipient for This Award.
