Application Purpose: the Purpose of This Grant Application Is to Fund the Procurement of Capital Projects Included in Avtas FY24 Capital Budget.; Activities Performed: 1) 2 Replacement 40 Zero-emission Transit BUSES2) 2 Expansion 30 Zero-emission Dial-a-ride BUSES3) 3 Expansion 35 Zero-emission Transit BUSES4) 1 Replacement Support VEHICLE5) Major Bus COMPONENTS6) Maintenance EQUIPMENT7) Bus SOFTWARE8) Bus Wash REPLACEMENT9) 6 A/c Units for Admin Maintenance BUILDINGS10) 20 Mobile VALIDATORS11) Phase Iii Facility Upgrade; Expected Outcomes: Replacement Buses and Vehicles Will Replace Buses/vehicles That Have Met Their Useful Life; Expansion Buses Will Allow Us to Accommodate Growing Ridership and to Maintain Same Levels of Service That Are Currently Using Lease Vehicles; Major Bus Components Will Allow Us to Replace Out of Warranty Parts and Keep the Fleet in Revenue Service; Maintenance Equipment for the Maintenance Facility Such as Tire Storage Rack Lifts and a Training Bib; Software Will Upgrade the Business Intelligence System to the Most Current Version Allowing Us to Capture Necessary NTD Data; the New Bus Wash to Maintain the Appearance and Cleanliness of the New Bus Fleet the A/c Units Will Maintain Temperatures in the Facility; Mobile Validators Will Allow Dar and Microtransit Passengers to Pay With a Tap Card; Phase Iii Facility Upgrade Will Upgrade/modernize the Administrative Facility Wellness Center Restrooms Entry Driveway Into Parking Lot and Money Room.; Intended Beneficiaries: Antelope Valley Transit Authority and the Riders That Rely on Its Service Will Benefit From Continued Services Permitting Workers to Get to Work and Other Destinations.; Subrecipient Activities: Avta Does Not Have Any Subrecipients.
