Application Purpose: the Purpose of This Award Is to Provide $3690000 of Section 5307 (CMAQ) Funds to Construct a Hydrogen Fueling Station.; Activities Performed: Funds Will Be Used for the Design Build and Construction of a Hydrogen Fuel Station. the Project Will Consist of Hydrogen Fueling Equipment Installation. the Completed Hydrogen Fueling Station Will Provide the Agency With the Ability to Fuel New Zero Emission Buses and Will Also Have a Dispenser Providing Hydrogen Fuel for the Public. Both 350-BAR and 700-BAR Dispensers Will Be Installed. the Public Dispenser Will Be Available for Use 24 Hours a Day 7 Days a Week. the Public Will Be Able to Utilize Visa and Master Card as Payment Options.; Expected Outcomes: Funding Will Allow Vvta to Construct a Hydrogen Fueling Station That Will Be Used to Fuel Hydrogen Fuel Cell Electric Buses as the Agency Begins the Transition of Its Fleet From CNG to Hydrogen as Its Primary Fuel Source.; Intended Beneficiaries: Riders and Commuters in the Victor Valley Community Will Benefit From This Project. the Public Will Benefit From the Availability of the Public Fueling Dispenser.; Subrecipient Activities: None
