This Grant Is Requesting $7887502 of FFY21 Arpa Federal Section 5307 Funds to Help Support Avtas Operating Costs for the Seven Month Period of September 1 2023 Through March 31 2024. Projected Operating and Maintenance Budget for Purchased Transportation as Defined by the NTD Reporting System for FY24 (07/01/23-06/30/24) Is Estimated at $21229764.ADDITIONAL Federal Funding for Operations During This FY24 Period Is Included in the FY21 5307 Crrsaa Grant (temporary Fain #5564-2021-2). Arpa Additional Funding Is Needed as Available Funding Is Insufficient to Cover Eligible Operating Expenses Within the Stated Period. Purpose: to Maintain and Continue Providing Transit Commuter Dar and Microtransit Services to the Residents of the Antelope Valley. Activities to Be Performed: This Grant Is Requesting $7887502 of FFY21 Federal Arpa Funds to Support Operating Costs as Defined by the NTD Reporting System for an Estimated 7 Months Starting 09/01/2023 Through 03/31/ 2024.EXPECTED Outcomes: Uninterrupted Transportation Services.intended Beneficiaries:the Residents of the Greater Antelope Valley Residents. Subrecipient Activities: Avta Does Not Have Any Recipients. Avta Agrees That If It Receives Federal Funding From the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) or Through a Pass-through Entity Through the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act a Different Federal Agency or Insurance Proceeds for Any Portion of a Project Activity Approved for Fta Funding Under This Grant Agreement It Will Provide Written Notification to Fta and Reimburse Fta for Any Federal Share That Duplicates Funding Provided by Fema Another Federal Agency or an Insurance Company.
