This Application Is to Request Fy 2022 Section 5337 Funds Apportioned to the Sfo $9115333 and Sjo $4557667 Uzas for a Total Amount of $13673000.PURPOSETHE Purpose of the Award Is to Provide 80% of Total Cost to Support the Following PROJECTS:1. Systemwide Track Rehabilitation State of Good REPAIR2. Systemwide Signal and Communication State of Good REPAIR3. Ticket Vending Machine (TVM) and Clipper Fare Equipment Rehabilitationactivities to Be Performedfunds Will Cover the Cost to Perform Caltrain Systemwide State of Good Repair Including Track Rehabilitation Related Civil Improvements Creek Crossing Improvements as Well as Communications and Signal State of Good Repair. Funds Will Also Complete the Last Phase of the Ticket Vending Machine Upgrade Program Which Replaces Outdated Components and Upgrade the Machines With the Newest Fare Collection Media as Well as the Relocation and Replacement of Outdated Fare Equipment. Expected Outcomesfunding Will Allow the Continued Operation of Service Maintain Safe and Reliable Levels of Service Address Growing Customer Needs Provide the Capability for Future Increases in Service and Enhance Operational Flexibility.
