Purpose of the Award: to Replace Older Diesel Buses That Have Met or Exceeded Their Useful Life With Zero Emission Battery Electric Vehicles.activities to Be Performed: Antelope Valley Transit Authority Is Requesting $6253255 of Low or No Emission Grant Funds for the Purchase Toward Five 60 FT Articulated Buses With a Useful Life of 12 Years and or 500000 Miles and Six 30 Foot Buses With a Useful Life of 10 Years And/or 400000 Miles. All Vehicles Will Be Battery Electric Commuter Zero Emission. These Buses Will Meet the Clean Air Act Standards (CAA) and the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) Requirements.expected Outcomes: to Deploy a Fleet of Zero Emission Battery Electric Buses to Maintain Local Transit Services and Establish/maintain a Microtransit Service in the Antelope Valley.intended Beneficiaries:residents of the Greater Antelope Valley Region Subrecipient Activities: Avta Does Not Have Subrecipients.
