Application Purpose: the Grant Applies $6848140 for Rail Station Improvements Purchase of Operating Equipment Capital Cost of Contracting Preventive Maintenance Planning Mobility Management Ada Paratransit Operating Assistance and Jobs Access and Reverse Commute (JARC) Projects.; Activities Performed: Funds Will Be Used to Cover Eligible Operating Expenses Such as Driver Salaries Fuel Maintenance Transit Vehicle Leases Ongoing Planning Etc. to Continue Transit Operations Along With Construction of Station Improvements.; Expected Outcomes: Funding Will Permit VCTC to Continue to Provide Operations That Would Otherwise Have to Be Cut Due to Lack of Funding.; Intended Beneficiaries: VCTC and the Riders That Rely on Its Services Will Benefit From Continued Service Permitting Workers to Get to Work and Riders to Get to Essential Services.; Subrecipient Activities: the Following Are Providers of Transit Service Operators: MV Transportation and Ratp-dev. Subrecipients Are the Cities of Moorpark Camarillo Thousand Oaks Ventura County Human Services Agency and the Calvans Vanpool Organization.
