Application Purpose: the Purpose of This Award Is to Obtain 7 New Paratransit Vehicles and on Demand Transit Vehicles for Expansion and Support Equipment. This Grant Will Use Conway Arkansass Small Urban FY18 5307 Funds in the Federal Amount of $936626. Funds Have Been Reallocated to Ozark. a Copy of the Transfer Approval Letter From Ardot Is Attached. the Funds Were Transferred in Line With the Transfer Provision in Fta Circular 9030.1E. Local Match Will Be From the Cites Ozark Serves in the Amount of $165805.; Activities Performed: This Grant Will Purchase 7 Dodge Ram Promaster Vehicles for Expansion. Funds Will Also Be Used to Purchase Additional Flasher/lights on the Vehicles and High Resolution Wraps/decals on the Vehicles for Safety of the Drivers Passengers and General Public to Be Able to See and Notice the Vehicle Stopping Better and Provide Safer Transport. These High Visibility Decals/wrap and Additional Flashers/lights Will Make the Vehicle More Visible to the General Public Especially for Loading and Unloading Passengers and Wheelchairs and Other Required Stops Such as Railroads. by Making These Vehicles More Visible We Believe It Will Increase the Safety of Our Driver Passengers and the General Public in Help Preventing Accidents.; Expected Outcomes: Expected Outcomes Are That the Ada Paratransit Demand Passengers and on Demand Transit Riders of Northwest Arkansas Will Continue to Be Able to Utilize Public Transit in Northwest Arkansas for Their Transportation Needs. These Vehicles Will Also Support the Growth of Public Transit in Northwest Arkansas.; Intended Beneficiaries: the Intended Beneficiary Will Be Ada Demand Response and on Demand Transit Passengers in Northwest Arkansas.; Subrecipient Activities: None
