The Purpose of This Award Is to Obtain New Paratransit Vehicles and Continue Payments on Existing Paratransit Vehicles for Ada and Demand Response Service to Be Able to Continue to Provide This Service to Northwest Arkansas. This Award Will Fund the Finance Purchase of 6 Ada High-roof Vans the Continued Translease Payment on 4 Ada Minivans and Related Equipment. This Grant Will Use the Remaining Portion of the FY18 5339 Funds in the Amount of $129515 the FY19 5339 Funds in the Amount of $158764 and a Portion of the Fy 2020 5339 Funds in the Amount of $33400 to Supplement the Finance Purchase of 6 Ada High-roof Vans the Continued Translease Payment on 4 Ada Minivans and Related Equipment. Vehicle Sales Proceeds of $6144 Will Be Incorporated Into the Purchase of Replacement Vehicles in This Grant for Vehicles a Vehicle Sold for $8000 Less $320 in Sales Fees That Had 80% Fta Interest. Activities to Be Performed Will Be Under This Award Will Include the Lease Purchases of Paratransit Vehicles to Be Able to Continue Required Ada Paratransit Service and Demand Response in Northwest Arkansas. Expected Outcomes Are That the Ada Paratransit and Demand Passengers of Northwest Arkansas Will Continue to Be Able to Utilize Public Transit in Northwest Arkansas for Their Transportation Needs.the Intended Beneficiary Will Be Ada and Demand Response Passengers. These Vehicles Will Be Primarily Used to Transport Ada Paratransit and Demand Response Passengers in Northwest Arkansas. They Are Replacing the Old 2016 Mvi Paratransit Vehicles That Have Exceeded Their Useful Life in Both Age and Miles. Useful Life for the New Vehicles: 4 Years/ 100000 Miles. Local Funds Will Be Used for Match.there Are No Subrecipient Activities.we Will Be Utilizing the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Departments Translease Programwhich Will Allow Us to Obtain the Vehicles Quickly as All of the Bidding and Award Process Has Beencompleted to the Standards of the Ahtd and the Fta. the Translease Program Is a Zero (0) Interestprogram Established by the State of Arkansas That Allows Transit Systems State Wide to Procure Rollingstock Quickly and at a Significantly Reduced Cost Due to the Bulk Purchasing Power of the State.
