Purpose of This Award: This Is a Fy 2021 Section 5307 Arp Act in the Full Amount of $7785127 Representing 100% Federal Share of the Total Eligible Amount. Rock Region Is the Sole Recipient of Fta Formula Funding to the Little Rock Urbanized Area. This Application Utilizes Arp Funding to Prevent Prepare for and Respond to the Coronavirus. the Application Scope of Work Includes Operating Assistance. There Arent Any Projects That Lead to a Functional Location or Capacity Change. Per the Arp Act the Project in This Application Is Not Required to Be Programmed in the Long-range Transportation Plan Statewide Transportation Plan or Statewide Transportation Improvement Program.activities to Be Performed: Metro Will Use These Funds to Cover Added Janitorial Expenses Due to COVID-19 Operator Wages Mechanic Wages and Fringe Benefits. Operating Assistance in This Grant Is From 8/1/2021-12/1/2024. Operating in Cares Funding Is Expected to Be Used From 12/1/2024-8/1/2029.EXPECTED Outcomes: Metro Expects to Have Sanitary Facilities and Revenue Vehicles. These Funds Will Allow for Continued Operations.intended Beneficiaries: This Project Will Benefit All of Metros Passengers and Employees of Metro.subrecipient Activities: N/athe Recipient Agrees That If It Receives Federal Funding From the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) or Through a Pass-through Entity Through the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act a Different Federal Agency or Insurance Proceeds for Any Portion of a Project Activity Approved for Fta Funding Under This Grant Agreement It Will Provide Written Notification to Fta and Reimburse Fta for Any Federal Share That Duplicates Funding Provided by Fema Another Federal Agency or an Insurance Company.pre-award Authority Expenses in the Approximate Amount of $380602 Will Be Incurred From 8/1/2021 to 9/30/2021.THE 1% Security Expenditures Arent Necessary at This Time. Rock Region Metro Is in the Middle of a $320000 Security Project That Is Updating All of Our Security Camera and Door Control Panel Access Systems.
