1. Award Purpose: the Purpose of This Agreement Is to Conduct Survey, Regulatory, Outreach, and Tree Removal Operations in Support of the Asian Longhorned Beetle- Alb (anoplophora Glabripennis) Eradication Program in Charleston and Dorchester Counties. 2. Activities to Be Performed: Comprehensive Delimitation and Detection Surveys Throughout the Alb Regulated Area, to Be Conducted Primarily by Contracted Survey Personnel Administered by Clemon Department of Plant Industry. Estimating Approximately 5518 Acres to Be Surveyed During the Performance Period. Outreach and Education Efforts, at Least 14 Events During the Performance Period, Throughout the State to Gain Support From Industry Groups, the General Public, and Other Affected Stakeholders. Regulatory Operations to Include Issuance of Compliance Agreements, Compliance Trainings and Monitoring, State-wide Surveys, and Enforcement of the Regulations. Assist and Support Operations to Remove Infested and High-risk Host Trees, and Deregulate Regulated Material. 3. Deliverables and Expected Outcomes: Expected Outcomes Are the Containment and Eventual Eradication of Asian Longhorned Beetle From South Carolina. All Data Pertaining to Alb Survey and Tree Removal Activities Will Be Collected in Aphis-approved Geospatial Mobile Data Collection Applications and Hosted in the Aphis Gis Portal. 4. Intended Beneficiary(ies): South Carolina Forestry and Green Industry Stakeholders, and the General Public. 5. Subrecipient Activities, If Known or Specified at the Time of Award: None.
