The Purpose of This Agreement Is for the Organic Trade Association (OTA) to Provide Support to the National Organic Program (NOP) and Existing Transition to Organic Partnership Program (TOPP) Partners. Ota and Its Subawardees Will Provide Expertise and Widespread Industry Reach to Build Partnerships and Foster Collaboration With Organizations to Support Topp Initiatives. Ota Activities Will Focus on Technical Assistance in Market Development and Assessment, Supply and Demand Discovery, and Handling Transition and Education. Data Collection and Reporting of These Activities Will Subsequently Be Presented Through Deliverables, Including Developing Key Performance Indicators to Assess Progress, Impact, and Effectiveness; Project Management Roadmap; Outreach and Recruitment Overarching Roadmap Plan; Quarterly Progress Reports; Resources Such as Videos, Presentations, and Materials; and Various Project Plans. This Work Will Benefit Transitioning and Organic Producers and Handlers, Including Processors, Manufacturers, Distributors, Brands, and Others. an Expansion of Domestic Organic Producers and Handlers Will Directly Impact the Organic Market, Thereby Resulting in More Resilient Organic Supply Chains. Ota Will Collaborate With Partner Organizations to Complete the Scope of the Work Outlined in the Agreement. the Subawards Will Support the Prime Award Through Activities Related to Resource Development, Technical Expertise, and Outreach Events.
