The Community Farm Alliance Will Develop the Greater Louisville Food Council and Implement the Louisville Food System Vision 2030 a Strategic Eightyear Plan Supported by Substantial Public and Private Investment. This Project Aims to Coalesce Broad Stakeholder Buyin to Address Critical Goals Including Decreased Dietrelated Health Challenges Increased Food Security Enhanced Food System Resilience and Access to Resources Across the Louisville Foodshed. the Vision 2030 Will Guide the Development of a Robust Regional Food System Prioritizing the Ability of Farmers Ranchers Processors and Other Stakeholders to Produce and Distribute Nutritious Food While Simultaneously Acknowledging and Adapting to Regional Conditions. the Anticipated Outcomes Include Improved Access to Affordable and Safe Food for All Louisvillians Alongside Strengthened Support for Producers Within the Regional Food System. This Strategic Plan Will Facilitate the Movement of Goods and Resources Bolstering the Viability of Local Food Operations. the Project Will Focus on Benefiting the Populations Reliant on Regional Food Sources Ensuring Greater Food Security and Optimizing Marketing Opportunities for Producers.
