The Jefferson Economic Development Institute Will Enhance the Regional Food System Infrastructure Within Siskiyou County California With a Primary Focus on Enhancing the Mount Shasta Farmers Market. This Project Aims to Strengthen the Role of Regional Farmers Markets as Conduits Within the Directtoconsumer Supply Chain While Simultaneously Supporting the Development of New Producers. Avctivities Include Business Developmen Support Coaching Workshops and Organizational Outreach to Result in a More Robust and Interconnected Food System Benefiting Farmers Ranchers Processors and the Consumers of Siskiyou County. Expected Results Include Increased Market Activity and Associated Sales and Increasedexpanded Access to More Consumers Within the Regional Food System.
