Description:this Agreement Provides Funding for the Operation of the Yavapai Apache Nation's Continuing Environmental Programs While Giving It Greater Flexibility to Address Its Highest Environmental Priorities, Improve Environmental Performance, Achieve Savings, and Strengthen the Partnership Between Yavapai Apache Nation and Epa. This Agreement Funds Tribal Continuing Environmental Programs for Water, Land, and Air Quality. This Assistance Agreement Provides Partial Federal Funding in the Amount of $185,378. Activities:the Activities to Be Performed Include Coordinating Youth Environmental Outreach, Monitoring Water Quality and Flow of Identified Water Bodies, Revegetating Riparian Area, Developing Water Quality Assessment, Conducting Community Solid Waste Cleanup Events, Attending Relevant Training, and Attending Regional Tribal Operations Committee Meetings in Region 9.SUBRECIPIENT:NO Subawards Are Included in This Assistance Agreement.outcomes:the Anticipated Deliverables Include Environmental Outreach Materials, Water Quality Data Uploaded Into Relevant Epa Databases, Report of Flow Data, Final Water Quality Assessment Report Focused on Identified Riparian Areas, Summaries of Solid Waste Collected at Community Cleanup Events, Summaries of Trainings Attended, and Summaries of Regional Tribal Operations Committee Meeting. the Anticipated Outcomes Include Increased Knowledge and Engagement in the Community, Awareness of Water Quality, Increased Programmatic and Technical Capacity Within the Environmental Staff, Better Informed on Flow Data for Identified Water Bodies to Enhance Protection, and Increased Awareness and Engagement on Issues That Relate to Environmental Department Goals and Objectives.
