Description:the Agreement Provides Full Federal Funding in the Amount of $2,000,000 for the Construction of a Regional Stormwater Capture Facility Within Spane Park. the Proposed Facility Includes a Storm Drain Diversion Structure, Pre-treatment Unit, Subsurface Storage/infiltration Vault, and Pump and Filtration System to Intercept Dry Weather Flow and a Portion of Stormwater Flows to Improve Water Quality, Educate the Public and Contribute to the Enhancement and Restoration of the Existing Park. (note: Epa Has Approved the Recipient's Cost Share Waiver Request on 6/6/2025.) Activities:the Project Is the Construction of a Regional Stormwater Capture Facility Within Spane Park. the Proposed Facility Includes a Storm Drain Diversion Structure, Pre-treatment Unit, Subsurface Storage/infiltration Vault, and Pump and Filtration System to Intercept Dry Weather Flow and a Portion of Stormwater Flows to Improve Water Quality, Educate the Public and Contribute to the Enhancement and Restoration of the Existing Park. Subrecipient:no Subawards Are Included in This Assistance Agreement.outcomes:the Project Is Intended to Intercept Runoff Flows During Dry Weather and Wet Weather From an Adjacent Storm Drain to a Water Quality Treatment, Storage, and Infiltration System Beneath the Park Area. This Will Result in Improved Water Quality in the La River Basin. the Beneficiaries Are the Residents of the City of Paramount.
