Description:this Agreement Provides Funding Under the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) to Northern Nevada Public Health, Air Quality Management Division, to Support the Maintenance, Operation, and Upgrade of Existing Ambient Air Monitoring Stations, Primarily Through New Equipment Purchases. This Assistance Agreement Provides Federal Funding in the Amount of $662,488. Activities:the Activities Include Purchases of New Equipment to Upgrade the Existing Multipollutant Monitoring Stations and Training on Upgraded Equipment. Subrecipient:no Subawards Are Included in This Assistance Agreement.outcomes:the Anticipated Deliverables Include the Purchase of Upgraded Monitoring Equipment for Seven Monitoring Sites and Two Separate Manufacturer Trainings for Three Staff Members on Equipment Enhancements. the Expected Outcomes Include Increased Reliability and Sustainability of Ambient Air Monitoring Networks and Full Automation of Air Quality Monitors Allowing Real-time Comparisons in and Around Disadvantaged Communities to Air Quality in Nearby Areas. the Intended Beneficiaries Include the Residents of Washoe County.
