Description:the Agreement Provides Funding to the Aquatic Sciences Center. Specifically, the Recipient Will Develop a Formal Statewide Training and Outreach Program for the California Wetland and Riparian Area Monitoring Plan (wramp), Including Materials and Tools to Help State, Tribal, and Local Government and Environmental Organization Decision Makers Integrate Wetland Protection and Restoration Into Integrated Watershed Planning. This Assistance Agreement Provides Partial Federal Funding in the Amount of $235,524. See Terms and Conditions.activities:the Activities Include Development of a Training and Outreach Program and Materials for the California Wetland and Riparian Area Monitoring Plan (wramp). Conduct Formal Wramp and California Rapid Assessment Method (CRAM) Trainings for State and Local Resource Agency Staff. Special, Targeted Outreach to Tribes and Organizations That Work in Underserved and Disadvantaged Communities Will Be Conducted to Ensure That These Communities Are Included in the Trainings and Are Supported in Their Use of the Wramp Tools. Implement Specific Ecoatlas Updates and Enhancements That Have Been Requested by State Agency Staff and Other Partners to Improve Use of the Tools. Provide Specialized One-on-one Support for Specific Local, Regional, Tribal, and Government Resource Management Agencies That Have Requested Additional Technical Support and One-on-one Training on Focused Topics.subrecipient:all Activities Under This Grant Will Be Conducted Through Subawards. This Includes Development of the Training Materials, Conducting the Trainings, Updating Websites, and Providing All Deliverables.outcomes:the Anticipated Deliverables Include Presentations for Up to 5 Training Modules and Factsheets; Updated California Wetland Monitoring Workgroup Website; Updated Ecoatlas Website; Memorandum Identifying Trainer Qualification, Administrative Processes for Implementing the Plan, Long-term Costs, and Current Trainers; for Each Training a List of Attendees and Survey Evaluation Forms; a Summary of All One-on-one Trainings Provided; Progress Reports; Final Report. the Expected Outcomes Include Improved State, Local, and Tribal Agency Understanding and Use of the Wramp Tools and Datasets, Resulting in Improved Wetland Monitoring and Assessment. Incorporation of These Tools and Data Into Agency Programs Will Result in Better Wetland and Watershed Protections at the State, Local, and Tribal Levels. the Intended Beneficiaries Include Federal, State, Local, and Tribal Agency Representatives, Permittees, and Consultants.
