Description:this Agreement Provides Funding to the Occidental County Sanitation District to Implement Its Project to Design Approximately 7 Miles of Pipeline to Transfer Wastewater From the Lift Station at the Occidental County Sanitation District to the Graton Community Service District Collection System for Treatment, Reuse and Disposal as Directed in the 2023 Consolidated Appropriations Act or as Identified in an Approved Technical Correction If One Has Been Approved for This Project. This Agreement Provides Full Federal Funding in the Amount of $1,450,000. Preaward Costs Are Approved Back to March 31, 2025. Activities:the Activities That Will Be Performed as Described in the Workplan Include the Development of the Engineering Design Documents Needed to Construct a Wastewater Transfer Pipeline; 30,000 Feet of 4-INCH Diameter Pipeline to Transfer Wastewater From the District's Lift Station to the Graton WWTP for Treatment and Disposal. Subrecipient:no Subawards Are Included in This Assistance Agreement.outcomes:the Anticipated Deliverables Include Design Submittals (project Engineering Report and Design), Draft Easement Agreements and Progress Reports and Invoices and Grant Closeout Documentation. the Expected Outcomes Include an Economy of Scale, and Rate Stability to the District and Graton From the Transfer of Wastewater via the Reduction of Wastewater Hauling Costs. in Addition, There Will Be a Decrease Vehicle Emissions From Wastewater Hauling ( 50 Round Trip Vehicle Trips/wk). the Constructed Project Will Be Beneficial for the Communities of Occidental and Graton. the Intended Beneficiaries Include the Communities of Occidental and Graton.
