This Agreement Will Provide Funding for Big Sky Economic Development to Conduct Eligible Assessment-related Activities as Authorized by Cerlca 104(K)(2) in Yellowstone County, Montana.activities:specifically, This Agreement Will Provide Funding to the Recipient to Inventory, Characterize, Assess, and Conduct Cleanup Planning and Community Involvement Related Activities. Additionally, the Recipient Will Competitively Procure (as Needed) and Direct a Qualified Environmental Professional to Conduct Environmental Site Activities. Also, the Recipient Will Report on Interim Progress and Final Accomplishments by Completing and Submitting Relevant Portions of the Property Profile Form Using Epa's Assessment, Cleanup and Redevelopment Exchange System (acres).subrecipient:no Subawards Are Included in This Assistance Agreement.outcomes:the Recipient Will Use This Agreement to Evaluate Environmental Conditions and Catalyze the Redevelopment of Underutilized Properties, Focusing on Three Target Areas; Midtown, Southside, and the East Billings Urban Renewal District. This Agreement Will Allow the Recipient to Facilitate Redevelopment Efforts in Those Target Areas Including the Potential Reuse Plans of Creating Affordable Housing, an Animal Shelter/veterinarian Clinic, a Community Center With Expanded Healthcare Facilities and Cultural Programming Options, and an Up-and-coming Green, Walkable Live/work/play Community District. Further, the Recipient Anticipates Conducting Five Phase I and Five Phase Ii Environmental Site Assessments, Holding Six Community Meetings, Developing Four Site-specific Cleanup Plans/analysis of Brownfield Cleanup Alternatives, Developing Two Planning Documents to Initiate Brownfields Revitalization, and Submitting Sixteen Quarterly Reports. Work Conducted Under This Agreement Will Benefit the Residents, Business Owners, and Stakeholders in and Near Yellowstone County, Montana.
