Description:the Proposal Begins by Conducting Listening Sessions (initial, and Subsequent Continuous Sessions Throughout Grant Award Period) to Conduct a Needs Assessment Through Epa's Community Action Roadmap (CAR) of What the Community Needs Are and Use the Results to Assess Knowledge Gaps Regarding Impacts of the Inland Port. the Project Will Also Conduct 'ej Primer' Trainings With the Community to Promote Coordination and Training Related to the Causes and Potential Impacts of the Inland Port (ozone and Particulate Matter). Relatedly, the Proposal Will Develop Educational Materials (website, Brochures) to Further Foster Education and Training of the Public Related to the Impacts/causes of Air Pollution. Therefore, the Focus Is on Outreach/training/education Through Listening Sessions and Conduct of a Needs Assessment From the Community. the Outcomes for This Work Will Be a More Fully Engaged Community Able to Share Its Concerns Regarding the Environmental Consequences of the Development of the Inland Port.activities:activities Include Listening Sessions, a Needs Assessment Using the Community Action Roadmap, an Analysis of the Knowledge Gaps Regarding Port Impacts. ,ej Primer' Trainings With the Community Will Be Conducted. the Grantee Will Also Develop and Distribute Educational Materials (website, and Brochures) and Use These to Further Educate the Community Re: Environmental Challenges Related to the Port.subrecipient:no Subawards Are Included in This Assistance Agreement.outcomes:deliverables Include,: Brochure, Videos and Fact Sheets, Listening Session Reports, a Roadmap to Effective Community Engagement and a Community Outreach Guide.
