Description:the Agreement Provides Funding to the Chickahominy Indian Tribe- Eastern Divsion. the Recipient Will Build Its Capacity to Administer an Epa Program and Implement Solid/hazardous Waste Activities. Activities:the Tribe Will Maintain and Develop Core Capacities to Continue Development and Management of the Chickahominy Indian Tribe-eastern Division's Environmental Department and Ensure the Tribe Has an Environmental Presence in Areas of Interest. the Tribe Will Participate in Tribal Consultations and Submit Public Comments on Environmental and Cultural Issues of Concern to the Tribe, Attend Meetings, Conferences, Networking Groups, Stakeholder Groups, and Trainings to Build Capacity on Grant Management and Environmental Programs and Issues, Develop Sustainability Practices Guidance for the Tribal Government, and Continue Development of Program Policies. the Tribe Will Also Participate in Local and Regional Emergency Response Preparation and Response, Develop and Create a Tribal Emergency Response Plan and Analyze and Begin Development of a Climate Adaptation and Mitigation Plan for Tribe Which Considers Ik. the Tribe Will Add Macro Invertebrate Sampling to Their Water Monitoring Program and Educate Citizens on Water Quality and Other Issues. the Tribe Will Continue Developing Iaq Monitoring Strategy, Qapp, Healthy Home Assessments, and Recommendation Reports. the Tribe Will Continue Developing SWM Strategy, and Recommendation Reports, Conduct Community Education and Outreach Activities to Increase Community Knowledge and Interest in Source Reduction, Alternatives for Managing Household Hazardous Waste, Recycling, and Composting.subrecipient:no Subawards Are Included in This Assistance Agreement.outcomes:the Anticipated Deliverables Include a Revised and Updated QMP and Etep, Iaq and Macroinvertebrate Qapps, Water Quality Monitoring, Air, Solid Waste, and Climate Program Updates. the Expected Outcomes Include Stronger Participation in Environmental Consultations and Other Opportunities, More Educated Members Related to Environmental Topics, Improved Water Quality and Indoor Air Quality, Better Solid Waste Management Practices, the Intended Beneficiaries Include the Members And/or Residents of the Chickahominy Indian Tribe- Eastern Division.
