Description:this Grant Agreement Provides Funding to Support Pennvest's Project to Provide a Subaward to the General Authority of the City of Franklin, Pa for Costs Associated With the Rehabilitation/replacement of the Sanitary Sewer Collection System in the City of Franklin. Activities:the Activities to Be Performed Include Rehabbing or Replacing 55,000 Feet of the Existing Sanitary Sewer Collection System in the City of Franklin. of the Total, Open Cut Replacement Will Be Used for Approximately 34,000 LF and Fold and Form PVC Trenchless Rehabilitation Will Be Used for 31,000 LF. the Project Will Include PVC Gravity Sewer, Concrete Manholes, Laterals, and Appurtenances. Where Possible/beneficial, New Sanitary Sewer Will Be Installed Parallel to the Existing Sewer to Allow the Existing Sewer to Be Converted to a Storm Sewer Upon Project Completion. Subrecipient:this Agreement Provides Funding to Support the General Authority of the City of Franklin Project for Costs Associated With a Project to Rehab/replace a Total of Approximately 55,000 Feet of the Existing Sanitary Sewer Collection System in the City of Franklin.outcomes:the Outcome of This Infrastructure Project Is Improved Water Quality of French Creek Through Elimination of a Sanitary Sewer Overflow. the Intended Beneficiaries Are the Residents of the City of Franklin and Those Living in the French Creek Watershed. the City of Franklin Is Considered to Be a Disadvantage Community as Defined in the Clean Water State Revolving Fund Intended Use Plan.
