Description:this Agreement Provides Funding to Amherst County Service Authority to Implement Its Project to Stabilize the James River Bank as Directed in the 2023 Consolidated Appropriations Act or as Identified in an Approved Technical Correction If One Has Been Approved for This Project. Activities:the Activities to Be Performed Include the Execution and Implementation of a Stabilization Project Along the James River in Amherst County, Va. Workplan Activities Consist of: a Two Phase Approach Using Rock/riprap to Stabilize the Riverbank. Phase I Proposes Stabilizing 420 Linear Feet, While Phase Ii Continues to Use This Approach for 1,600 Additional Linear Feet Along the Riverbank. Subrecipient:no Subawards Are Included in This Assistance Agreement.outcomes:the Anticipated Deliverables Include Prevention of Further Erosion of the James River Bank and Limit Exposure/damage of the Sewer Line Along the River. the Expected Outcomes Include Stabilization of the Riverbank. the Intended Beneficiaries Include Residents of Amherst County and All Those Who Use the Sara Lu Christian Walking Trail.
