Description:this Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) (also Known as the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (iija)) Funded Grant Agreement Will Provide Funding to DC Water and Sewer Authority to Replace Unlined Cast Iron Water Pipes at Various Locations in the District of Columbia Which Can Provide Potential Habitat for Harmful Microbes. Activities:the Recipient Will Utilize the Funding to Replace Approximately 3.49 Miles of Small Diameter (12-INCH and Smaller) Unlined Cast Iron Water Pipes Which Can Provide Potential Habitat for Harmful Microbes. the Replacement of These Unlined Cast Iron Pipes Is Necessary to Ensure the Quality, Quantity, Reliability, and Safety of the Drinking Water Supplied to the People of the District of Columbia.subrecipient:no Subawards Are Included in This Assistance Agreement.outcomes:the Benefit of This Grant Agreement Will Be to Use the District's Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) With Primary Focus on Emerging Contaminants. the Grant Will Provide Assurance of a Cleaner and Safer Potable Water Supply by Funding Improvements to These Water Infrastructure Projects.
