Description:this Action Awards Federal Funds in the Amount of $283,306 ($18,800 of Which Represent Epa In-kind Funding) to Icprb to Support the Expansion and Acceleration of the Implementation of Nutrient and Sediment Load Reduction Practices and Technologies Throughout the Chesapeake Bay Watershed Through Collection and Evaluation of Tidal and Watershed Water Quality and Living Resources Monitoring Data. Federal Funds in the Amount of $1,688,054 (of Which $94,000 Represents Epa In-kind) Are Contingent Upon Availability. Activities:the Activities That Will Be Performed Under This Award Include the Creation of Authoritative Databases for Water Quality and Biological Monitoring Data Used to Support and Inform State, Regional, and Local Stakeholders on Progress in Reaching CBP'S Water Quality and Living Resource Restoration Goals; Documented Quality Assurance, Database Design, and Data Processing Procedures for Providers of Monitoring Data, Including Non-traditional Monitoring Programs; Advanced Level Programming and Data Analysis Tools Used to Develop and Routinely Produce Indicators Used in Reporting Progress; and Participation in CBP Goal Implementation Teams and Workgroups, and Professional Meetings. the Goal Is to Continue to Receive, Quality Assure, Update, Maintain, and Provide Access to Key Water Quality and Biological Monitoring Databases and Related Information Such as Qa and Data Submittal Procedures, Metadata, and Secondary Data (e.g., Indicators), Adhering to CBP Data Center Guidelines for Data Submission and Documentation.subrecipient:no Subawards Are Included in This Assistance Agreement.outcomes:this Project Supports Achievement of the Goals and Outcomes of the 2014 Chesapeake Bay Watershed Agreement. the Expected Outcome of This Award Is Direct Reduction of Nutrient and Sediment Loads Into the Chesapeake Bay Watershed, With Emphasis on Maintaining the Water Quality Necessary to Improve the Aquatic Living Resources of the Chesapeake Bay and Its Tributaries. Beneficiaries Include the Chesapeake Bay Program Partnership, Residents of the Chesapeake Bay Watershed, Human Health, and the Environment.
