Continuing the National Electronic Interstate Compact Enterprise (NEICE) to Expedite Interstate Placements of Children - the American Public Human Services Association as Secretariat for the Association of the Administrators of the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children Seeks Continued Support to Advance the Implementation of the National Electronic Interstate Compact Enterprise. Neice Is a National Electronic System for Quickly and Securely Exchanging the Data and Documents Required by the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children to Place Children Across State Lines. Since Its Launch in 2014 and With the Vision and Support of the Childrens Bureau Neice Has Improved the Efficiency and Accountability of Interstate Placements of Children for Foster Care and Adoption. Today 47 States Are Fully Onboarded to Neice and Three States Are Working to Complete Their Onboarding. Continued Federal Partnership on Neice Will Enable Full Implementation of the System Which Meets the Family First Prevention Services Act of 2018 Mandate Requiring All States Process Interstate Cases Electronically by 2027.
