In October 2020 as Part of Its Strategic Goal to Support Open Interdisciplinary Science Nasa Requested the Ads Team to Develop a Plan to Extend Ads's Services to All the Scientific Disciplines Supported by the Science Mission Directorate (SMD). Ads Would No Longer Primarily Serve Astrophysics (AP) But Become the Digital Library for Planetary Science (PS) Heliophysics (HP) Earth Science (ES) and Nasa-funded Research in Biological and Physical Sciences (BPS).
