This Activity Is Planned as a Five-year, $ $5,998,325.90 Million Dollar Cooperative Agreement to Provide Social Behavior Change Communication (SBCC) Messaging to Mozambican Populations in Selected Provinces. SBCC Messaging Will Be Delivered Through Faith Leaders at the Community Level and Through Radio at the Community, District and Provincial Level. This Activity Is Part of a Broader Program Within the Usaid/mozambique Integrated Health Office That Will Help Achieve Strategic Goals for Hiv/aids, Malaria and Nutrition and Maternal, Neonatal and Child Health (MNCH) Programmatic Areas. in the Hiv/aids Arena, This Activity Will Support the Mission President¿s Emergency Plan for Aids Relief (PEPFAR) Antiretroviral Treatment Retention Strategy, Targeting Populations in Geographic Areas Where Retention Is Particularly Low. as Malaria Is Still the Leading Cause of Death for Children Under Five Years, This Activity Will Be Part of the Broader Presidential Malaria Initiative (PMI) Programming Within the Mission, Helping to Meet Targets Related to the Use of Malaria Nets and Rapid Care-seeking. for Nutrition and MNCH, This Activity Will Support the Adoption of Selected Key Behaviors and Encourage the Use of Public Health Services.
