Purpose: the Purpose of This Grant Is to Improve the Quality of Ontologies in Biopharma Through the Development and Integration of an Open Application Development Platform by Leveraging and Enhancing the Mobi Ontology Platform to Enable Improved Data Collaboration, Governance, and Integration Within the Industrial Ontology Foundry's Ontology Library.activities to Be Performed: the Project Will Engage With the Industrial Ontology Foundry Architecture Working Group to Deploy Mobi and Make It Accessible to the Iof Community to Support Collaborative Ontology Development. the Project Will Then Develop and Deploy Enhancements to Mobi Addressing Owl Syntax Support and User Experience Improvements to Enable the Replacement of Prot'g as the Primary Ontology Editor for the Iof Community. Finally, the Project Will Deploy Enhancements to Mobi Addressing Reasoner Integration, Local Ontology Development Support, and Ontology Hygiene and Validation Tools to Improve Ontology Quality and Advanced Ontology Engineering Expected Outcomes: the Project Will Provide an Open Semantic Development Platform, the Proposed Research Will Accelerate the Development and Adoption of Ontology Standards for Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing.intended Beneficiaries: an Open Semantic Development Platform Is a Powerful Data-focused Tool That Offers Substantial Relevance and Benefits to the General Public by Fostering Collaboration, Innovation, and Efficiency Throughout the Ontological Development Process. by Utilizing This Approach, the Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Industry Can Reduce the Time to Market for New and Generic Drugs and Develop a Higher-quality Product for Less Cost.subrecipient Activities: the Proposal Does Not Include Sub-awards.
