Purpose: the Purpose of This Project Is to Provide Services to Expand Existing Mep Capabilities to Provide National Supply Chain Optimization and to Establish a Supply Chain Intelligence Network. Improve the Resiliency and Optimization for Domestic Supply Chains in the Mep National Network in the State of Missouri.activities to Be Performed: the Expansion Award Will Provide Funding for a Dedicated Full-time Employee to Manage and Deliver Supply Chain, Utilize the Connex Supply Chain Database; Connex Missouri, Updating and Facilitating the Execution of the Connex Supply Chain Marketing Plan. the Plan Will Include Marketing Strategies as Well as Key Performance Indicators to Ensure Commitment and Success of the Plan. Our Engagement Will Include Helping Manufacturers With Their Needs by Helping With Building a Professional Profile to Drive Customer and Potential Supplier Interest. Work to Understand the Best Way to Map as Many Supply Chains as Possible to Best Understand Supply Chain Disruptions, Disconnects and Delays. Expected Outcomes: Results From Work Provided Through This Expansion Funding Will Provide Manufacturers With Increased Visibility and Access to Multiple Sources of Suppliers Enabling Them to Improve Many of the Disruptions and Disconnects They May Be Experiencing in Their Supply Chain. Manufacturers Will Be Able to Source Alternate Suppliers for Cost Comparisons, Quality Certifications, Business Type, Vendor Capabilities, Delivery Enhancements, and Design Improvements That Lead to Impacts Such as Quality Improvements.intended Beneficiaries: Small and Medium-sized Manufacturers (SMMS) in the State of Missouri.subrecipient Activities: the Recipient Does Not Intend to Subaward Funds.
