Purpose: the Fields of Optics and Photonics Have Long Sought Methods by Which to Do 3D Nanofabrication; However, All Methods to Date Have Been Lacking in Material Choices, Speed, and Possible Geometries. Through the Use of Implosion Fabrication (impfab), a Newly Developed Method for 3D Nanofabrication, Irradiant Technologies Plans to Demonstrate in Phase Ii, That the Impfab Platform Can Address These Shortfalls by Creating Optical and Photonic Devices Never Before Possible. Activities to Be Performed: During Phase Ii, Irradiant Technologies Plans to Conduct Research That It Hopes Will Form the Basis for All Future Material and Device Discovery and Optimization.expected Outcomes: Irradiant Technologies Anticipates Outcomes in the Form of a High Throughput Experimental Discovery System Capable of Screening for and Implementing New Materials for the 3D Manufacture of Novel Optical and Photonic Devices.intended Beneficiaries: Beneficiaries Include the Fields of Materials Science, and Optics.subrecipient Activities: the Recipient Does Not Intend to Subaward Funds.
