Title: Advanced Technologies for Digitalization of Construction Industry Purpose Statement: the Project Will Develop a Roadmap to Guide the Construction Manufacturing Sector in Adoption of Advanced Technologies Such as Additive Manufacturing, Robotics and Automation and Artificial Intelligence for Improved Productivity, Efficiency, Flexibility and Safety. Activities to Be Performed: the Project Team Will Convene a Steering Committee to Guide the Development of a Technology Roadmap for Digitalizing the Construction Industry. the Roadmap Will Be Developed Through Two Professionally Facilitated Workshops. the Roadmap Will Be Disseminated to Broad Audiences Through Publications, White-papers and Conference Presentations. Expected Outcomes: in Addition to the Technology Roadmap Produced, the Team Anticipates That the Community Will Develop Shared Understanding of the Need for a Collaborative Approach to Implementing the Roadmap?s Identified Priorities, Through a Consortium, Center of Excellence, or Manufacturing Usa Institute. Intended Beneficiaries: the Intended Beneficiaries of This Project Are Domestic Construction Manufacturers, Equipment Manufacturers, and Suppliers for This Ecosystem. Subrecipient Activities: the Recipient Plans to Subaward Funds to a Contract to Lead Roadmap Development With a Focus on Gathering Expert Assessments, Organizing Collaborative Workshops, and Preparing the Roadmap Itself.
