Pontchartrain Conservancy Requests Funds to Research and Develop New Educational Materials Emphasizing the Importance of Calling 811 Before Marine Construction or Excavation, Including a ''how-to Guide'' for Making Successful Marine 811 Notifications. They Will Create and Distribute Marine-focused 811 Guidelines, Pipeline Safety Checklists, and Tip Cards Both Digitally and in Print. the Conservancy Will Also Host Four In-person Marine Pipeline Safety Training Sessions With Mariners, Captains, Emergency Responders, and Public Agencies. Additionally, They Will Develop Marketing Plans for Each Meeting and Distribute Materials Through Social Media, Email, and Pipeline Operator Networks. Finally, the Funds Will Support Online Marine Pipeline Safety Training in English and Spanish for 500 Individuals in the Marine Construction and Dredge Industry. No Known Subrecipients.
