Award Purpose This Project Is to Provide for a Coal Dust Collection System at the Mcduffie Coal Terminals MCT Existing Dual Rotary Rail Car Dumper. Activities to Be Performed the Project Will Be Completed in Two Components With the Following Elements. Component 1 Engineering and Design and Construction Management. Phase I 30 Percent Design.development of General Arrangement Drawings for All Dust Collection System Components Including Enclosure Building Duct Work Dust Collection Equipment Such as Fans and Dust Collectors Dust Reclaim System, and Power Distribution. Provide Preliminary Cost Estimates for Foundations Structural Supports Enclosure Building Dust Collector Equipment Duct Work and Power Distribution for New Dust Collection System. Provide Equipment Procurement and Installation Schedule for the Project. Phase Ii 100 Percent Design. Final Design Drawings for Construction of the Dust Collection System Including Electrical Design for Delivery of Power to New Equipment Foundations for New Equipment Enclosure Structure for Rail Dumper Coordination of Equipment With Dust Collector Manufacturer and MCT Operating Systems. Prepare and Release Issued for Bid Drawings and Equipment Specifications to Contractors in Support of the Projects Competitive Bidding Process. Prepare a Project Implementation Schedule and Finalize Issued for Construction Documents Based on Bid Phase Revisions Contractor Feedback and Final Engineering Review. Construction Management Construction Engineering Construction Observation and Construction Material Testing. the Engineer of Record Will Provide Engineering Support Conduct Daily Field Observations Attend Construction Progress Meetings Answer Rfis Approve Submittals Furnish Weekly Progress Reports Perform Pay Application Reviews and Provide as Built Drawings. Component 2 Construction Procure and Install a Coal Dust Collection System at the MCTS Existing Dual Rotary Rail Car Dumper. the Proposed Coal Dust Collection System Includes the Dumper Pit Enclosure Building and Dust Collection Electrical Mechanical Equipment. Pile Supported Pre Engineered Metal Building Pemb Foundation Electrical Power and Lighting Ventilation Pile Supported Bag House Foundation Isolation Valve Foundation Dust Suppression Equipment Such as Bag House Isolation Valves Ductwork Electrical Power Distribution Approximately 4 by 350 Horse Power HP Fans 3 by 30 HP Blowers 2 by 40 HP Agglomerated Dust Filter Dust Controls Integration Deliverables Expected Outcomes as Outlined in Schedule G on Page 11 of the Grant Agreement.
