This Project Funds the First Phase of the Rehabilitation of the South Side of Pier 1 in the Port of Davisville. the Project Complements a Similar State-funded Effort That Is Modernizing the Adjacent Pier 2 Facility and Is Part of the Ports Recently Completed Master Plan. Pidp Funding Will Assist With the Removal and Reconstruction of a Section of the Dock at Pier 1 South, Including the Replacement of Critical Berthing and Mooring Infrastructure as Well as the Installation of a Concrete Ramp Overlay to Accommodate the Loading/unloading of Ro-ro Vessels at the Pier.
