Purpose: This Project Aims to Provide Wayne County Area Residents With Educational Opportunities in Modern Industry 4.0 Knowledge and Technology in Order for Them to Gain Quality Jobs in This Important Industry for Southeast Michigan. Participants Will Be Trained on State-of-the-art Equipment and Will Earn College Credits and Smart Automation Certification Alliance (SACA) Industry 4.0 Credentials That Will Make Them Highly Marketable and Help Fill the Void in Qualified Industry 4.0 Automation and Robotics Technicians. These High-demand, High Wage Jobs Will Help Individuals Ensure Their Career and Economic Future.activities to Be Performed: Smart Automation Certifications (SACA) - Industry 4.0 Certifications. Saca Certification and College Credential Alignment. Training Will Be Accomplished in the Four Semesters (fall 2023 and Winter, Spring, and Summer 2024). Appropriate Courses in Mechatronics, Robotics and Automation, and Supply Chain Management Will Be Offered During Each of These Semesters and Will Be Taught by Approved and Properly Trained Schoolcraft Instructors.
