Purpose:the Advancement of Neutron Scattering Research in the United States. the Acns Serves as Both a National User Meeting and a Scientific Meeting.activities to Be Performed:carry Out Education Activities to Identify and Bring Together the Neutron Scattering Community of the Usa. Identify Their Needs, Including Future Requirements for Instrumentation and Sources, to Represent These Needs to the Neutron Facilities and Funding Agencies. Stimulate, Promote, and Broaden the Use of Neutron Scattering in Science and Technology. Expected Outcomes:the 2022 American Conference on Neutron Scattering Will Encourage and Support the Attendance of Undergraduate and Graduate Students, Postdocs, Young/early Career Faculty, and Invited Speakers From Us Institutions of Higher Learning.
