This Project Will Develop a Spatial Model of International Trade for the Crop and Livestock Sectors. the Spatial Model Will Be Able to Project Bilateral 10-YEAR Trade Flows From the U.s. and Major Partners. the Model Will Be Calibrated to the Usda Baseline Model and Will Be Used to Stimulate the Impacts of Free Trade Agreements as Well as Various Trade Policy Shocks (such as Non-tariff Measures and Tarriffs). the Project Will Also Put Together a Trade Elasticity Database That Will Be Used to Calibrate the Model.
