Purpose: Reconstruct Runway Lighting; Widen Runway; Reconstruct Airfield Guidance Signs; Reconstruct Runway; Install Runway Vertical/visual Guidance System. Activities to Be Performed/expected Outcomes: This Project Installs Replacement Runway 17 End Identifier Lights to Make the Airport More Accessible by Improving Approaches to the Runway Ends. This Project Installs Replacement Runway 17 Precision Approach Path Indicator to Make the Airport More Accessible by Improving Approaches to the Runway End. This Project Reconstructs the Existing Runway 17/35 Medium Intensity Runway Lighting System That Has Reached the End of Its Useful Life and Requires Reconstruction to Meet Federal Aviation Administration Standards. This Project Reconstructs the Existing Runway 17/35 Pavement That Has Reached the End of Its Useful Life. This Project Replaces the Existing Airfield Guidance Sign Fixtures to Meet Federal Aviation Administration Standards. This Project Widens Runway From 60 Feet to 75 Feet to Meet Federal Aviation Administration Design Standards. This Grant Funds the Design Phase. Intended Beneficiary: This Grant Will Provide Federal Funding for Airports Associated With John Day, Oregon.
