Purpose: Reconstruct Runway Lighting; Seal Apron Pavement Surface/pavement Joints; Install Weather Reporting Equipment. This Grant Includes Funding by the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 to Increase the Federal Share to 100 Percent for the Airport Improvement Program (aip). Activities to Be Performed/expected Outcomes: This Project Installs a Type Iii (P/T) Automated Weather Observing System to Enhance the Safety and Efficiency of Aircraft Operations at the Airport by Providing Accurate, Current and Site-specific Weather Information. This Project Performs Crack Repair to 11,200 Square Yards of the Existing Apron C Surface to Extend the Pavement's Useful Life. This Project Performs Crack Repair to 8,670 Square Yards of the Existing Apron B Surface to Extend the Pavement's Useful Life. This Project Reconstructs the Existing Runway 7/25 Lighting System That Has Reached the End of Its Useful Life and Requires Reconstruction to Meet Federal Aviation Administration Standards. This Grant Funds the Design Phase. Intended Beneficiary: This Grant Will Provide Federal Funding for Airports Associated With Waverly, Ohio.
