Purpose: Extend/expand Runway; Reconstruct Runway Lighting; Install Runway Visual Guidance System; Construct Taxiway; Reconstruct Airport Rotating Beacon; Install Weather Reporting/surveillance Equipment; Construct Airport Drainage/erosion Control; Reconstruct Wind Cone/segmented Circle; Expand Apron; Rehabilitate Runway; Construct Taxilane. Activities to Be Performed/expected Outcomes: This Project Acquires and Installs a New Automated Weather Observing System (awos Iii P(T)) to Provide Site-specific Weather Information. This Project Constructs a New 2,840 Foot Taxiway a to Bring the Airport Into Conformity With Current Standards. This Project Constructs a New 400 Foot Taxilane B to Provide Airfield Access to a Non-exclusive Designated Aircraft Tie-down Area to Bring the Airport Into Conformity With Current Standards. This Project Constructs New Drainage Structures, Grading, and Ditching to Adequately Handle Storm Water Runoff and Protect Pavement From Deterioration to Bring the Airport Into Conformity With Current Standards. This Project Expands Existing Ga Apron an Additional 4,570 Square Yards to Accommodate More Aircraft Operations. This Project Extends Runway 13/31 an Additional 1,200 Feet in Length to Bring the Airport Into Conformity With Current Standards. This Project Installs the Runway End Identifier Lights System and Precision Approach Path Indicator System for Runway 13/31, at Both Runway Thresholds to Bring the Airport Into Conformity With Current Standards. This Project Reconstructs Existing Runway 13/31 Lighting That Has Reached the End of Its Useful Life. This Project Reconstructs Existing Wind Cone and Segmented Circle Navigational Aids to Provide Pilots With Critical Airfield Information. This Project Rehabilitates 5,800 Feet of Existing Paved Runway 13/31 to Maintain the Structural Integrity to Extend Its Useful Life. This Project Replaces 1 Existing Airport Rotating Beacon That Has Reached the End of Its Useful Life. Intended Beneficiary: This Grant Will Provide Federal Funding for Airports Associated With Deer Lodge, Montana.
