Activities to Be Performed/expected Outcomes: This Project Installs a Replacement Runway 18 Precision Approach Path Indicator to Make the Airport More Accessible by Improving Approaches to the Runway End. This Project Reconstructs 8,400 Square Yards of the Existing Apron Pavement, Located Between Taxiways J and H, That Has Reached the End of Its Useful Life. This Project Rehabilitates 7,150 Feet of Runway 18/36 Pavement Markings to Enhance Safe Airfield Operations. This Project Rehabilitates the Existing Runway 18/36 Lighting System That Has Reached the End of Its Useful Life and Requires Rehabilitation to Enhance Safe Airfield Operations During Low Visibility Conditions. This Grant Funds the Design Phase. This Project Installs a New Runway 36 Precision Approach Path Indicator to Make the Airport More Accessible by Improving Approaches to the Runway End. Intended Beneficiary: This Grant Will Provide Federal Funding for Airports Associated With Tupelo, Mississippi.
