Purpose: the Equitable Sharing Program Enhances Cooperation Amongst Federal, State, Local, and Tribal Law Enforcement by Providing Valuable Additional Resources to the State, Local or Tribal Law Enforcement Agencies That Directly Participated in the Law Enforcement Effort Resulting in the Federal Forfeiture. Activities to Be Performed: Equitably Shared Funds Are to Be Used for Authorized Law Enforcement Purposes Pursuant to 31 Usc 9705 and Treasury Guidelines. End Goal/expected Outcomes: to Encourage Further Cooperation Between the Recipient Law Enforcement Agency and Federal Law Enforcement Agencies as Required by 31 Usc 9705. Beneficiaries: State, Local and Tribal Law Enforcement Entities. Subrecipient Activities: Shared Funds May Not Be Transferred to Any Another Agency. Broadband: Specific Awards Related to Broadband Usage Are Not Known at the Time of Award.
